The controls for Remenision will be standard to most first person RPG/shooters. The WASD keys will controls the direction that the player moves, as follows:
- W – walk forwards
- S – walk backwards
- A – strafe left
- D – strafe right
Alternatively, the controls can be switched to the four arrow keys for left handed players.
The player will be able to run, jump, and crouch using the following keys:
- Space – Jump
- Shift (hold) – Run
- Ctrl – toggle stance (crouching/standing)
If the player tries to run from the crouching stance, the character will automatically switch to the standing stance and run.
The player controls the camera by moving the mouse to turn 360o around and 180o vertically.
The player will interact with various objects and NPCs (opening doors/engaging in conversation/etc.) using the E key (L for left handed players) :
- E – Interact/speak
To use weapons/tools, the player can click the left mouse button for the weapon/tools primary use, and the right mouse button for the secondary use. These controls can be reversed for left handed users.
- Left mouse button – Primary weapon fire
- Right mouse button – Secondary weapon ability
If the player’s mouse has a scroll wheel, this can be used to scroll between the available weapons/tools.
- Mouse scroll – cycle through weapons/tools
The number keys can also be used to quick select a weapon/tool
- Number keys – Weapon/tool hot keys
